the Festival d'eau vive de Maniwaki

On August 27th, 28th & 29th, 2004, the City of Maniwaki will be host of a new edition of the White water Festival, a major event organized in cooperation with the Fédération québécoise du canot et du kayak.

The program includes activities for all categories of canoe enthusiasts, family activities and much more. This is a weekend not to be missed.

This festival is now one among the most important events of its kind in North America. White water lovers of all level are coming from Québec, Ontario and the United States.

Newly discovered in the summer of 1997 by amateur canoers, Gatineau river has since been a great rendez-vous among Québec white water lovers. The Festival is always gaining in popularity and an increasing number of competitors are registering.
