If there’s a sport synonymous with holidays and relaxation, it’s golf. And the Gatineau Valley has five golf courses for you to choose from. For the beginner all the way up to the skilled, there’s a course or a few for you to enjoy.

The two 18-hole courses are in Lac Ste-Marie and Messines. Both are well-appointed with all the necessary services and infrastructure for even the most discerning golfer.

Whether you’re a pro or an amateur, you’ll be sure to appreciate the links with the locals and cottagers enjoy the beautiful scenery with their favourite sport.

There are three 9-hole courses. Two present interesting challenges for amateurs, novices and experts,with one set on a mountain in Messines, the other in the heart of Maniwaki.

The third, also in Messines, is all par-3 and is a great place for the family or anyone wanting to be initiated into the basics of golf. Of course.
