Accommodations :
Something for everyone

Whichever type of accommodation you prefer, the Gatineau Valley has what you’re looking for.

Although renowned for its numerous outfitters, the region has several hotels, motels, inns and B&Bs, all ready to welcome you with charming accommodations and warm hospitality.

The majority of the hotels are concentrated in the town of Maniwaki. There are also motels, and a new resort style complex which offers packages and has its own executive golf course.

If you’d like to visit with family and friends, renting a cottage or camping are often a nice alternative, allowing you more freedom and autonomy.

This region is also a terrific destination for all kinds of campers. For the whole season, or just a short stay, rustic camping or canoeing-camping, everyone will find something to suit their tastes, from one end of the territory to the other.

In fact, there is a wide variety of campgrounds. They are, for the most part, family run businesses where you’ll find warm welcomes and personalized service are the norm. Nature lovers will also be happy with one of the many campsites in La Verendrye or one of our ZECs.

If you prefer to rent a cottage, you have many choices. In addition to the outfitters, several local businesses rent cottages on the shores of some of our beautiful lakes and rivers.
