Snowmobiling:
1,000 km of groomed trails

Snowmobiling is one of the most popular winter activities of the Gatineau Valley.

Well-marked, well-groomed trails, access to services and warm relays await the snowmobile enthusiast who comes to the Gatineau Valley. And there are over 1,000 km of trails on which to travel.

You’ll see scenery that will take your breath away. The region is truly beautiful in winter.

Trail quality is overseen by volunteers with the White Bears Club (Ours Blancs).

Dotted along the trail-system, you’ll find easy access to gas, restaurants, accommodations and specialized sales and repair shops.

In addition, the trails connect to the Quebec provincial trail-system offering access to and from the Laurentides, Abitibi, Outaouais and Témiscamingue regions.

You also stand a good chance of seeing deer. There are lots of white-tailed deer in the Gatineau Valley. And though they are beautiful and plentiful, you will need to be cautious.

A detailed map (Outaouais-Laurentides) is available from the Outaouais tourist associations, tourist information kiosks and in all of the region’s accommodation establishments.
